What I Offer

I am experienced in working with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Bereavement
  • Family / relationship issues
  • Trauma
  • Identity
  • Seeking greater meaning or purpose in life

My area of specialty is supporting people through significant life changes such as:

  • Mid life
  • Menopause
  • Empty nest
  • Life after burnout
  • Career change
  • Preparing for retirement

These life changes can bring both grief for what may be lost, and also the hope for the future and this can be a difficult path to walk, to give attention to both the loss and the gain.  Dependent on our previous experiences, we may tend towards one or the other and for us to effectively move through these transitions in life it is useful to understand both. As your counsellor I will support you to explore all aspects in a safe, contained way to support your transition.

Taking the First Step

Whatever your reasons for accessing counselling I understand that finding a counsellor who works well with you is fundamental.  I offer a free initial half-hour telephone or video call where we can explore your requirements, and you can ask questions about my approach so that we can decide whether we are the right fit for one another.

Session Information

Working with You

I offer both in-person and online counselling, dependent on your needs and can be both short and long-term work.

In-person sessions are based in Rackheath, a 15 minute drive from the centre of Norwich, conveniently located off the A1270 Northern Distributor Route.  There is free parking onsite and the number 5  or the number 5b bus from Norwich  stops a short walking distance from the location.

Online sessions are held over a safe and secure platform to protect your privacy.
